Countertop washbasin in Corian Triade Planit

Square countertop washbasin in Corian®.
Triade, a square, round or oval shelf-supported sink, has been inspired by bed pans. It reminds us of old fashioned buckets, with a bowl whose height can be customized, with a thin edge and clean lines. It is completely white, made from Corian®, with an integrated drain cover, all that needs to be done is rest it on a surface and it immediately becomes an undisputed protagonist of the bathroom. Countertop in Corian® – Without overflow drain, Drill for waste plug, with Corian® cover. On reguest, highness on measure available.

A merry threesome for Triade: square, circle and oval give shape to the washbasins in Corian® with support ring. They delicately break loose of a set pattern: a thin edge is juxtaposed to the jutting height of the bathtub and opt for a low surface to climb in.

Corian material is thermoformable, versatile, renewable, compact, easy to take care of, and resistant. Corian, developed by Du Pont more than 40 years ago, is the material responding to the highest demands, made of natural components and pure acrylic polymer. Certainly this product deserves trust and respect thanks to its versatility, durability and the special touch it gives to every environment.
The peculiarity of this resistant surface material guarantees renewability and easy care. The exclusively homogenous and non porous structure distinguishes this material and makes it extremely durable. On request, other solid surface materials (mineral materials) can be processed and used.

DuPont™ Corian®: the characteristics:

What is Corian? Corian is a solid, non-porous, homogeneous surfacing material composed of ± 1/3 acrylic resin (also known as PolyMethyl MethAcrylate or PMMA) and ± 2/3 natural minerals. The main mineral is Aluminium TriHydrate(ATH) derived from bauxite, an ore from which aluminium is produced.

Is Corian a toxic material? Corian is an inert and nontoxic material.

How long does Corian resist? In compliance with the rules for the use and maintenance of the Corian material, it lasts longer than most other materials. Possible damage can be repaired by a specialized technician with little effort. This keeps the Corian product always new.

Can Corian burn? Under normal temperature conditions, it does not emit gases. When burned, it releases mainly Carbon Oxides and the smoke generated is optically light and does not contain toxic
halogenated gases.

How gets Corian cleaned? For lighter colors, it is advisable to use mild abrasive cleaners such as Cif cleaner or Scotch-Brite. For darker colors of Corian material ideally a soft cloth is used with a lime-free cleanser. The non-porous material with no visible seams prevents the growth of bacteria and makes cleaning easier.

Can Corian be drilled? You can drill the material, but you should contact your equipment supplier in order to decide how.

Corian may discolor? No, because it is an acrylic material.
